Public Hearing-Ordinance 08-2024 Temporary Mortorium and Ordinance 09-2024 - Cannabis Provisions

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
September 19th at 7:05 p.m.
The Town Council of Centreville will hold public hearings on September 19, 2024, in the second-floor meeting room of the Liberty Building, 107 North Liberty Street, Centreville, Maryland, regarding the Ordinance listed below. The public hearings will begin at 7:05 p.m.
Ordinance No. 08-2024 –an Ordinance of the Town Council of Centreville adopting a temporary moratorium on the application for, approval of, construction of, expansion of, processing of, or issuance of any subdivision, site plan, or building permit applications for any residential or mixed-use project where the anticipated equivalent dwelling units (EDUs) exceed seven (7) EDUs for the total project pending consideration and adoption of revised Zoning Ordinance provisions as the Town Council may consider advisable and to adopt an updated Capacity Management Plan and Sewer Allocation Policy.
Ordinance No. 09-2024 –an Ordinance of the Town of Centreville amending the Town of Centreville Zoning Ordinance, which is Chapter 170 of the Town Code, to update the cannabis provisions in order to administer and enforce the Town’s Zoning Ordinance more effectively.
